What seals the rear window to the body on a 1931 tudor sedan? I guess there is a "U" channel rubber seal that goes around the edge of the glass, but I don't know what seals the widow to the body to keep water from entering at the body/glass.

The U channel rubber is the seal.

The inside garnish molding clamps against the seal, compressing the seal. A dab of black silicone would not hurt anything.
