when i was wiring my pickup i ordered the frame clips from mikes, they seem to be made from thin gage sheet metal with little springiness to them. yesterday i was helping a friend run some wiring on his "a" and the clips he had seemed to be good spring steel. i had to really pry on them with a screwdriver to slide them off the frame rail. if i had done that with the clips i have they would have just bent and stayed bent. does any of the suppliers have good spring steel clips clips?
