sunnen tool-what is it?

stopped by an old shop today and this stuff was getting thrown out (not the motor or the cat) the red stuff all has sunnen written on it, no one there new what it was, and the big threaded thing was for pressing in ball joints they say, but i am going to make some dies to fit the base for pressing spring perch bushings in & out. nice heavy duty thing, i am excited about it. what is the sunnen stuff? thanks, skip
