Default Alternator Adjustment Bracket

I am looking for a top mount alternator adjustment bracket (banana style) like from a 60-70's model years that will fit the A. I can bend the off-set if needed. Don't need chrome. Any information on make, model, year, and engine size would be much appreciated.

Or make your own out of strap-iron.

you might try Tom Wagner at Wagner Products. He's here in St. Louis and supplies alternators to some of the dealers along with brackets. I know he has a nice new bracket setup like you are speaking of. He does boat ones as well so call him off t he web number.. tell him I referred you.

I bought a new alternator from Mike's. It came with new brackets and detailed installation instructions. I'm really impressed with the quality of the brackets and the alternator.
