Default help with block I.D.

hello fellas, do you guys know what year this might be?. the fella I got the block from said it came out of a 52 pickup. it has hardened seats.

Don't think the numbers you posted will be of much help, an overall photo and any numbers stamped into the intake machined surface might be more useful.

o.k. thanks, I did look for numbers on the face of the intake and didn't notice any....I will look again

49 to 53 blocks are essentially the same, Ford and Merc.

I don't mess with the later blocks much, but don't some of them have a build date stamped in the intake area?

Yes, some do. My point is it really doesn't matter what year it is. Parts are the same, so why bother.
