Default Different water pumps for a model B?

Recently I pulled the engine on my 33 model B to fix oil leaks. That is when I realized the mechanic I had before had cut all the engagement teeth of the crankshaft pulley. After careful assesment it was evident that the water pump fitted to the engine is much longer than the one originally in the car. Because of that reason the crank pulley was also lengthened and move forward and the outcome was no room for the crank pulley nut. To make things worse, he lost my original water pump.

These are photos of the actual 2 pumps. Notice that the replacement is much longer. Otherwise it fits well worked fine.

Is this longer pump correct for 33? Is it perhaps a 32? If so, I will be happy to trade for a 33. I want to restore correctly, including the ability to use the hand crank, which with this setting is not possible.

Comments please! Thank you
