Default Searching for post

Does anyone remember the post about a fellow that had a steering ball come off when he was driving? I think it was about 3 to 6 months ago. The post had a picture showing the ball and shank that appeared as though the ball turned for a while until it came off. I did several searches, but found nothing. I wanted to know who did his steering arm reballing so I don't use the same place.

I know it was NOT A&L, and that's where I would send my steering parts for new balls.

I also agree that A & L is the place to go. They have done one for 2 of my cars and they did a great job.

It was TOM/WI. I just went to search and put in "Pitman Arm" and all the posts came up. It didn't say where or who they got it from as they were driving someone else's car. Wow, they were lucky to be alive going across two or three lanes of traffic and not getting hit.

It happened to me about 30 or so years ago in my 1929 Standard Coupe just as I was coming into Bend, OR from the south going north...Scared me @hitless!

Kinda makes you wonder how many didn't live to tell what really happened when they crashed over the years.
