Dist. advance question

I have been working on the final leg of finishing the motor for my 40 pickup. I am running an 3 carb manifold and can not find where to hook up the vaccum advance line from the dist. The motor is actually a 48 and the dist. has a port to use a hard line. Did the original go to a carburator ( I am using 94"s ) or to the manifold. If manifold I guess I will need to drill a hole in the Elderbrock manifold. Thanks.
