Does anyone know where I can find the old original Ford front wheel alignment tool for the model a fords Or give me the name of the company the makes them now and where I can find them. I asked this question a long time ago and there's a company that makes them just like the original model a alignment tool. I just want one for my old car or a good original one would be great to get or if someone could tell me how to get a hold of the company that makes them now. If someone has original one that is willing to sell it I know what they look like the originals anyway but I do know that there still made today. But I just don't remember as to where or what the company is that makes them I thought I downloaded the site but I must of lost it somehow. Thanks let me know reggiedog

I bought a used one in excellent shape on eBay last Spring for $25. So they do pop up occasionally.

Mitch: I looked at the site that you put on here the one from S and G for $87.00. Do you know as to where I could even get a used one. All the used ones I find they always want a mint for them. I didn't know that they still made them but I'm going to keep looking on e-bay for a little bit yet.

I found a used Snap-On at an auction in southern Wisconsin for $10 about 5 years ago. The dirt and grease mostly hid the name plate and I'd guess most people didn't know what the tool was or it would have sold for a lot more.

I have an original Duby gauge and there is no substitute for them for accuracy and ease..... I have seen the ones on ebay occasionally that mitch referred to. I think $87 -$100 is a bargain for one..... so if you want/need one I would make the call and purchase while they are still available. You never know when that could change.
Not sure about scale and accuracy on the new ones.. but being of the same design I would think they would be similar. Ask what the scale is. You an always use a caliper on the points if necessary. Larry |

I bought one that is obviously a "garage-built" piece. It is comprised of a vintage tent pole with a spring in it, a couple bullet casings, a spring pointer, and a chunk of a carpenter's folding rule. A few links of light chain at each end help with accurately measuring the front and back at the same height off the concrete.
It is rube Golberg engineering at its finest ... and it works great! Oh. It isn't pretty, but well worth the $2 asking price. |

Reg, Do a search on EBay for toe in gage(Iassume this is the alignment gage you are talking about) and a seller named molinestud puts them up occasionally. Bidding starts at $24.00 and shipping is $12.00. These are brand new surplus possibly military. If you don't win bid, wait more will be listed. Good luck. If you want an instruction sheet for it, email me [email protected]
