Another more important question is if it was rebuilt, who rebuilt it? I know one local rebuilder that I consider their work so bad that I would rather have a tired engine than one they rebuilt. Do you have access to the checks written by the person that passed away?

I was burned by a bad rebuild once. Machining was incorrect... no fixing that!

It seems like $5,000.00 for a good running roadster is a pretty good price.
