The 2-hole ring on top is an adapter to the 3-hole timing tool. It requires another adapter to extend the 2-hole shaft to the bottom of the tool. It looks like this. You can go to a similar fixture for sale last year on
H.A.M.B. and see the adapter in the kit. The picture is from Speedway motors catalog. I don't know if would work on the KR Wilson tool or not.
