2c. What are the alternatives? Vintique's is the only one currently marketed. Yes Drake made good ones 40 years ago, but switched to the same lesser quality one Vintique has. NOS with 90 year old rubber inserts? If you can find any you will have several hours rebuilding them anyway. Someone making a better one? How many potential customers are there for a 250.00 pair (good/not perfect) vs Vintiques at 25.00 pr on Epay?


Anyway... post a picture just to verify what is going on.
The rubber in the NOS will most likely be an issue. I understand your point about Vintique being the only supplier. I do wish that if they can make a better product they would consider.
