Andy, I have seen those unusual drum/hub combinations you are referring to, and may even have a couple of them in my stash of stuff. It almost looks like 'Ol Henry, or his part supplier, salvaged some '35 hubs, and made them into drum/hub assemblies that could be used in '36 as wide fives.
