Thanks Guys. Kurt, I think your onto something. I'm heading to the shop tomorrow. I believe the timing gear is riding on the bearing surface of the timing cover. Not much room to knock it back unless...

1936 Temperature gauge work with a 1948 Flathead?

My temperature probe is in my drivers side water pump. Will I be able to use it if I drop in a slightly moddified 1948 Ford Flathead? If not, any ideas how to make it work? Thanks in advance. Mike

My solid rod runs through the column and turns with the horn button. Instead of a wire running through it, a wire is attached to the short, spring loaded rod in the light housing. So the rod itself...
