I would agree that Action Machine does good work I've been using them for 20 years with no complaints. Robbie the owner and counter man is vey knowledgeable.

oil filter help

Attempting to install a stock oil filter on my 8BA and I'm missing the fitting that goes on the bottom of the canister that the return line to pan connects to. The hole appears to be 1/8 pipe but...

That's is what I was thinking of doing, the wheel shouldn't be to hard but shaft will be a bit more of a problem do to the location.

49s do not have a sleeved drag link. After to talking to Chris a Shoebox Central all the new steering wheels have the same defect.

Removing steering wheel

I have a large crack at the base of the steering wheel which I'm going to try to repair. I have a the puller and I have taken the horn ring off. I know the bolt holes to attach the puller are 5/16...

I had the same problem on my 49 it would start fine cold but if I drove it for more then 15 minutes and shut if off there was a good chance it would not start or it would crank so slow I was afraid...

I was there and had a good time even my wife enjoyed looking at the cars. It was a hot day in the mid 90s and the old 49 never went past mid way on the temp gauge.
