i think the steel mud flaps are a ww2 army item. perhaps even the whole bed is off an army truck. usually have a data plate on the front

to run a winch you need a PTO that has forward and reverse. they are usually quite large due to the extra gears inside. PTO shown looks to be a smaller one direction unit to me, as in dump truck

its hard to argue with Kube, but i have never found an assembly number on the main case. part numbers on the ends, and maybe the pulley, but nothing on the case. i have better luck looking at the...

another thought that just occurred to me, perhaps my long gennys would fit on the big 337 (?) truck motors as they must be longer

here's a pic i had on file. i assume they had they're own manifold. perhaps T16, or bren carrier. i had two T16's years before i had these gennys, sorry, didnt pay attention to what was on them.

i have a couple long ones, military surplus from the big one, ww2. sadly, they will not fit a stock single carb manifold as they hit the carb.

i use the center of the hub to wipe the excess grease off my fingers. edge of dust cap works good for that too

when you turned it over the first time, all the valves moved, then stuck open. when you now say you didnt see any valves move, again, they are stuck open. if they were really stuck bad you would not...

it looks very much like the continental v 12's used in some of our Korean era tanks. jay leno has one in a roadster. i had 50 of em! all stuck, got 750 each in scrap
