I had exactly the same problem on my 29 Roadster. It had been in a barn for over 20 years and the mice had a comunity in there. Many of the springs were broken and/or bent. A local upholstery shop...

I do what Purdy does - all the way up to start, and all the way down to drive. Most of my driving is 35-45 MPH on secondary FLAT roads. Have not had a problem.....oops maybe shouldnt have said...

29 Roadster Convertable Windshield

Finally got my Roadster road worthy and been taking it for some rides. I had put a new rubber seal on the bottom of the windshield. When I get up to 35-40 MPH sometimes the windshield snaps...

Roadster convertable would be my choice. There is a lot of room in the rumble seat that can obviously be covered and the Roaster gives a magnificant view!

Ford Logo

I made a Ford Logo to put on a tool box I made. It is 7 1/2 " wide and 2 1/2 " high. My wife did a great painting the "FORD" on it but now I woud like to put the white ring around the outside edge....

What year is your Roadster. My 29 Std Roadster has bolts with nuts that attach the hinge to the frame.
