Non standard head 1938

Has anyone seen a flathead head with a letter raised T on it? It also has a number 81T 6049 stamped on it. I suspect it may be a replacement but who made it? Thanks

Thermostats

I just took off my upper radiator hoses and no thermostats! I wonder why. One kind member tild me I need 180 degree thermostats and I should drill a hole in the flange. My questuon is what holds them...
