'28-'29 Driver side front fender

This is the last good metal part I need to complete my '29.
It must be a solid part that has near perfect beads.
I can arrange shipping if needed, but would prefer to pick up in CA. NV. AZ.

It's obvious how it fits into the flat floor because there is a groove for it to sit in, but the firewall has no such groove. What am I missing?

Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm in the middle of resealing the floorboard in my wife's '46 Ford 2-door.
I bought Drake's seal kit but I can't figure out how it's supposed to be installed.
