Re: I need Simca "V8-60" help
Post this question on the chevybarn.com. they have a non-chevy fourm. David Dunbar seems to have a handle on the simca v8 60. He owns many of them.

Re: blown engine adventure continues
Joe,
I'll be at the Fairplex all day today, too. Hope to see you there. Then I'm going back to Fountain hills thru early March. Have to wait for some of the snow to melt back home.

let's give Ol' Ron a "get well soon."
I ran into George from VT today, at the Grand National Roadster Show, in LA. He told me Ron is under the weather with a couple of problems. One is a hernia surgury.
Get well soon, Ron!!!

Broke down on the Jersey Pike at the Hightstown exit. Managed to drive to a AAA recommended repair shop, using the manual trailer brake controller.

Wayno,
I know what "almost Spring" is like in New England. I don't think I dare chance it this trip. Thanks for the offer.....I'll be back this way again, for sure.

Re: blown engine adventure continues
Pete, all I did was pull the rod caps to take a picture of the damage. I won't really get to tear it down until mid-late March when I get back home. I don't dare mess up my friends garage in AZ...

Re: blown engine adventure continues
You bet it is, Ron. It's like having an old friend with me again. Now I'm gonna drive it like it was stolen, for a proper break in. :D Don't worry, I'll try not to break it.
