Re: Unusual carburation on Flathead V8’s
It is not a 32 manifold which has a single throat down draft carburettor and the generator on a 32 manifold has a single pole mount generator I would say it was a 34 manifold.

Stromberg carburettors
Is it o/k to run a Stromberg 48 carburettor on a late 3-3.16" inch bore Ford V8 engine as originally they were fitted to the 3-1/16" inch bore 1934 Ford V8 engines.

Re: Disaster averted !
Great exhaust tip Tiger, I like the way it deflects the exhaust gases down. It would be interesting to see a exhaust tip made that would stop foreign objects going up the exhaust pipe as well,...

Re: Fire Extinguishers
I believe the powder extinguishers make a bit of a mess and if the powder gets sucked into the engine the engine has to be dismantled before it can be restarted .
I will be leaving my BCF fire...

Re: Hard To Find Hood Ornament
I made up Chrome Goddess radiator cap ornament for our 1932- 3/W Ford V8 basing it on the 8 foot Bob Drake chrome sculpture which was unveiled at the S.E.M.A. Show. in 2008.
