About restricting the front oil galley hole.

In 1970 Dan Iandola published an article in a hot rod type magazine.

This was for a B block with drilled crankshaft with full oil pressure to rods...

I read somewhere that the smaller Dagenham engine makes Horsepower at 2600 rpm VS 2800 for the larger USA version.

If so that would explain the smaller front gallery oil hole as less oil volume...

My stock B engine was rebuilt in 1989 with 20,000 miles on it now.

Oil pressure with hot engine has always been 2 lbs at idle with 20 W50 and 8 at 45 mph to 10 at 65.

The oil pump was rebuilt...
