It was a factory option with late 1931 Deluxe Coupes with Rumble Seats as I recall.

I've already checked off most of that list, hoping to take it to its first show soon once I finish replacing the brake pedal bushings, tires, and checking tolerances on the brake system.

It's a great car, mechanically near perfect though its paint is a 20 footer. The only things on this car ever truly restored were the engine and interior. Sometime in the near feature I'm going to...

Being honest though, as a younger fellow I don't have much history to talk about yet, I'm hoping to make some with this car in short order.

The "A-V8" is a very popular build for hot rods and speedsters alike, it certainly can be done. I have the 1952 edition of the Ford Speed Manual which is a good read for ideas.
