Just try doing that today with the kids on top, overloaded load, livestock in the cab, no windshield wipers, missing headlight and no front plate.

Am I missing anything?

voltmeter reading with alternator

So, what is the voltmeter (not ammeter) telling me?

At 30MPH the voltmeter reads 6.5. At 30MPH and the lights on it reads 7.

So, why would Paul make all of the adjustment he did on the bench? Wouldn't it save time by just doing the adjustment one time when it is up with the flywheel?

But don't you have to make another adjustment when the flywheel is on? Or is my brain out of...

Sounds like valves but I can not tell. Install your timing pin in backwards to the timing gear.

In the latest Ford article it talked about eliminating the lower distributor plate.

Sounds good to me. Does anyone see a problem in doing this?

52 is pretty good.

If you have a standard head the math would be:

4.2x14.7. About 60 lbs on a new engine.

Some say the formula should be 4.2x14.7+14.7.
