I like your idea. Would you have a recommendation as to what coil? Additionally, do you think that this may be something that would cause the vehicle to not run?

not sure if i have that, but would that really be an issue if the fuel flows freely regardless of how the engine is running?

Wow! thank you all for the prompt responses! A couple things:
1. the fuel line being inserted too far into the carb could most definitely be a factor. Will check when i'm in the garage tomorrow.

So i have a 30 coupe, stock banger (other than a snyder head) and i seem to be having a fuel issue.

I can go out, start my car right now, let it warm up, and even drive it around a little, but...

PTO attachment for F6 transmission

Came off a working operating F6 truck. put it through the parts cleaner to get the gunk off. asking $100 plus the ride.

My plans exactly. I have a 39 trans as as well as a side shift that i plan on using if the gears in the 39 are no good. Good to hear that i can use the bell housing but sell the part after that.

funny you say that HEARD, because when i got this thing it had a packard grill and currently has 37 headlights...so it looks a little far from a 36 now.

yes it is but i sold it already, the thing looked awful (just take my word for it). It will be getting a stock grille and maybe stock headlights again.

here is a picture of the car. (in the hands of the previous owner). It came with a 39 plymouth ifs installed. in short the car is a pretty big turd, but i am going to fix that

thanks for the info everyone! blucar, i plan on running drum brakes, splitting the wishbone is simply to allow for more room for a later model trans. the car is going to be full fendered, old style...
