Southside didn’t have one, but, after checking part number exchange lists that suggested the Raybestos MFC4073 might be a replacement, I ordered one. It’s plastic, but it fits.

Paul2748, the M/C cap for a 55-57 T-Bird is the 1A-2162-A that a lot of vendors carry.
JayChicago, that link takes you to a M/C cover for the floor.

Thanks, Ritzy1. Looks like mine is bent after all. Whatever the car suspension hit must not have been too serious as it seemed to drive and track fine.
