Jerry thanks. I will pull oil bath air cleaner and see if jets are working properly then put truck up on lift and check fuel lines, later this afternoon.

I tried this morning and when reving the timing does advance.
One other thing I noticed. The timing mark does not change, vacuum connected or disconnected and taped at idle.
Still haven’t...

Don’t think I have that under tank. Will look tomorrow. Tank looks fairly new so probably reproduction

Ross - I took the fuel pump glass bowl off and even tho clean, I replaced the screen. What other screen are you mentioning, that sticks up into tank. I have a lift and can easily...

Thanks all good advise. Glass bowl fuel pump, rebuilt by CharlieNY last spring. Filter just changed.
One other point I failed to mention.
When putting putting timing light on. I disconnected...

No back fire. Just bogs down when hitting gas peddle hard.
I’ll have to google accelerator jet. I’m not verse one crab parts

Recent tune up on all stock engine
Plugs
Wires
New points
Rotor and cap
Did not replace condenser.
Adjusted timing as advised in other post.
Changed fuel filter
Adjusted carb mixture
