Re: 35-36 ford cabriolet door length??

The 36 Cabriolets had a passenger side door lock and roll up windows
The 36 Roadsters did not have door locks and roll up windows. No need
For locks if you had no windows.

Re: 35-36 ford cabriolet door length??

I’m not an expert but I never heard of a 1936 Passenger door not having

Maybe after market? I’d like to know also.

Original 36
What I can see from this picture is that this car is
In most part an original survivor. It may not be a museum piece
But its good enough to enjoy as is. Whatever decision you make

Re: Fix it or leave it

If you can do the repairs yourself I would fix the fenders with replacement patches from a company called EMS and find a replacement trans cover here on the forum. As far as the interior goes that’s...

Re: Glove Box Spring Question

The only thing I can think of is attach it to the small tab as if it were the larger
metal hinge. The problem you might have is attaching the hinge to the glove box with the spring in the way. Try...

Re: 36' rear tail pan repair

I replaced the pan on my 36 Club Cabriolet.
I’ll see if I can get some pics for you.
It’s covered up and tucked away but I may be able to squeeze
In between other projects to get to it.

Re: 36' rear tail pan repair

When I installed my inner panel I cut it after the notch where that piece of wood is inserted. I’m not sure what the wood was actually used for. Maybe to finish off the trunk area? The cut was made...

Re: 36' rear tail pan repair

Yes your right about the extra metal to weld in.
It’s now bringing back memories. When you drill the holes in the pan
