Re: Value of an Un-Restored Model A Engine

Re: Alternator

I noticed that some belts are just smaller than others. When I got my "A" it came with lots of extra parts including 3 belts. Now I am not positive that they were specifically for a Model A but all...

Re: Thoughts on new camshaft?

I am new as well but can someone explain a "reground camshaft"? I am assuming to get proper lift that there has to be some welding or adding of material, then it gets ground down to desired...

Re: Water or 50/50 Mix for Summer

Crankshaft pulley

Is there a difference between the solid crankshaft pulleys and the ones that have the 3 holes in them? Did certain years come with certain pulleys?

Re: "ar" transmission parts

Alright. I took everyone's advise and straightened it the best I could! Going to use what I have for now since I have another motor being rebuilt and will get to that next winter. So everything can...

Re: "ar" transmission parts

I may have a buddy try straightening it. Kinda looks like the metal stretched when it bent.
Also thanks for the insight on the chatter. A fellow member messaged me and is going to send pictures of...

"ar" transmission parts

So I pulled my bad motor and it looks like I bent the cover plate that attaches to the flywheel. Do they sell parts for these early transmissions? I attached a picture for reference. Also I am just...
