Re: OCMAFC 55 Pancake Breakfast

It's about a 115 mile freeway round trip for me with no wipers. I have to decide what I am going to do. I wonder how many people are going to pass?

Re: Reds Headers

If it's like the one I have, it is also welded on the back side. I didn't grind mine down to far because it's not welded on the front side. I spaced the intake ports with some thick gaskets to...

Re: Anyone seen a threaded gas cap with ears?

That's what I was thinking too. I replaced more than a few of those in my time there.

Re: gap between body and frame.

Does it really look to you like everything fits? It's the way that I bought the car. I am just trying to fix it.

Re: gap between body and frame.

Yes in deed, lots of issues. How can you tell that the frame is sagging? Would that be why the body is angled down hill instead of leveled?

Re: gap between body and frame.

I don't know why they raised the rear so high. This is the way that i bought it. I don't see how i could lower the rear and still have the rear fenders line up with the running boards.

Is it normal to have such a big difference between the front of the body and the rear? I ask this because on the front there is no gap and on the rear part ( in front of rear fender) it looks like...

Re: Single 97 or dual B Zeniths?

I run a Stromberg 48, seems to work good. Only drawback with my setup is carb sits to high and runs out of gas before tank is empty with gravity feed only.

Re: water pump pic.

Thanks for the info. Yes someone cut the shaft flush with the impeller. The impeller is pinned to the shaft. I am going to buy a new 2 blade fan, because the 4 blade was on it when I got the car.

Re: 16" to 19" wheels

Thanks for all the replies. I think that I will check out the 19" wheels and tires and if all looks good, I will put them on to see if there is a big difference in handling. I assume that the lug...

My local auto paint store is going to charge me 43 dollars for a half pint of touch up paint color matched. They sure don't give that stuff away anymore.

Re: auxiliary gas tank

The problem that I have with the stock tank is that my down draft intake and carb sit to high to gravity feed all the gas out. I would like to keep the gravity feed instead of a electric fuel pump...
