Re: Car transport
Tim, my first early V-8 in 1974 was one just like that 33. Same color with the original upholstery. Brought back a lot of memories. Those old "moredoors" are the best touring cars.

Re: Mirror identification
I could be wrong, but that doesn't look like a Ford mirror to me. Never saw a Ford mirror with woodgrain paint.

Re: Door Handle pulls out
In addition to all the good advice, you may hear a rattle in your door as some of the broken pieces have probably fallen to the bottom of the door.

Re: No Brake Lights
I agree with deuce lover, use a mechanical switch. I've always used the switch from the early Chevrolet pickups and mount them to the upper floor boards. These switches are also readily available at...

Re: Petaluma Swap Meet
Pete, thanks for the posting. It's one of the best swap meets in northern California. I'm a little biased since our V-8 R.G. puts it on!

Re: Directionals switch
In your first post you indicated that the unit was hooked up to the tail light circuit for the signals. To begin with it is supposed to be hooked up to the stop light wires on each side of the car....
