Why thank you sir. I have been away from this project and finally got logged back in here. Still hunting. May end up having to swap out both front and rear, as no one seems to have this available....

Sorry, been elbow deep in a Gran Torino, and haven't been online much. Lemme pull drums off and measure. They are literally all I have to start with.

Rehabbing a 292, 4 speed f250 with the 8 lug setup. Rear drums are empty. I can find wheel cylinders and shoes, but cannot for the life of me find the spreader bar/strut for the top of brake shoes....

Are there any other manufacturers out there using turbine style impellers on the 8ba pumps? When I pulled mine out, they were trash, but had turbine impellers. I'm wondering if these are old Haney...

Just got off the phone with Rusty at SpeedoService. We figured out a plan, and my sleeve and cable will be made/shipped tomorrow. Thanks again for all the hlp navigating a fairly new world, folks

It looks like Drive gear is 7 teeth, on passenger side. rear end is 9 inch with 3.30 tag. From what I have been able to dig up, that means a 16 tooth LH rotation driven gear, right?

port for cable is on passenger side of tail housing. Going to hit it with flashlight/inspection camera to see color/count teeth today.

Thank you all for your input. Still digging in. Replaced windshield and shocks, and have had a lot of run driving it in it's current state. Just trying to get dash all together and working at this...

Still not 100% on engine size. Common casting number, no aspirin but flange doesn't look 63 years old either. I still need to pull pan and check caps. will update when I do

Thank you for the responses. This will be a much simpler fix than I was dreading. Bright side is that she gets all new pushrods.

Previous owner used a bolt to close a threaded hole on head above and behind cylinder 8. Now that car has been running, that shady fix has reared its head and caused an issue. Bolt was 2 inches,...

Yeah, that one does look a whole lot different. Like I said, I'm new to this engine family. I'm much more comfortable with Inlines, Clevelands and Windsors.
