Re: Motor Meter or Quail

I have thought of that. I have one my painter painted for me when he painted my car. A whole lot less attractive, but I get your point.

Kind of a low-life...besides what are they gonna do with...

How fast (MPH) are you going at 230F? How many RPM are you turning at this speed (say 35 or 40 MPH)?

Does this car have one of those steam tubes that goes back tot he engine, like the LS motors...

Re: Motor Meter or Quail

Don't. Took my car to the hardware store(s) a few years back, and someone tried to muscle my moto-meter off, and all they did was break the neck of my radiator. The lady at Snyders told me she...

Re: Batteries completely discharging

Or a draw some place. Start with unclipping the bailing clamp at the end of the steering column, and pull that switch apart. That housing has little tabs on it like a taillight does. See if the...

Re: Connecting Rods Hitting Oil Pan Baffle?

I don't blame ya. The first thing I'd do is pull the oil filler tube, and take a super bright flashlight and shine it down that hole to verify the tray position.

Re: Grease fitting

May I ask why you feel you need to do this? Those metal shavings are likely going to be a problem even if all goes well.

Re: Chevrolet ohv head on a Ford Model A block adapter plate

Kind of interesting topic. I'd be afraid to use this on a T though. Seems like the increased RPM, and power would be hard on the crankshaft. T crankshafts are known to sometimes break.

I...

Re: Anybody use "Ezsteer" P/S conversion from Ebay?

Remember though, if your box is bad, and you put a power unit on it, your steering will still be bad. I don't know what parts you are considering, but think about the big picture. Some clerk on...

Re: Positive ground tach

Whomever converted it for you, perhaps you should send them an e-mail, and ask them? A photo of which wires might help. I hate finger pointing contests, if ya know what I mean.

Re: Car Is Shrinking........

One of the guys that was formerly in our local club took 1 1/2 to 2" out of his clutch and brake pedals, then welded them back together.

Re: Ford badge

I just bought a half find can of blue that looked like it matched the crest in my radiator shroud fairly well. In 30 years no one has ever commented on it being wrong on my bumper clamp.
