My experience with the bronze guides I always had plenty of oil up top. I have used them in several vintage cars with no problems but like I said I always had plenty of oil on those engines.

You are correct they are on the wrong side of the transmission. You will need to remove the hogs head to remove them with out damaging them. Just put them back in the correct way so next time you...

Can you put up a p;ictrue of the carb to make sure it is one for a 27 as they did make carbs for model T's for a number of years and they vary in design.

That last story is just wrong. That is why I do all my own assembly and only sub out the machining. Just because someone is a "professional" doesn't mean they know what they are doing.

I never hard much luck with the gross jets, found a good needle and seat worked best. You may need to use a modern material float though with your fuel pump. I have found they give a littel more...

I never tried the 14mm plugs but I tried all the others and have found the good old Champion X to be the best but just barely edging out the Autolite plugs.

You have to use the babbitt for the rods and mains, no inserts will work. The cam bearing same thing. As for the rear end you have to take the babbitt out or risk having happen what is mentioned...

You can get all the aprts you need from any of the parts dealers such as Langs, Bob's, or Mac's. I know Langs also offers rebuilt one's that you jsut send them your core as well. If you are good...
