Re: Oil pressure
Why not call Bert’s and ask Steve about the engine? I have an engine from them with all of the neat stuff you mentioned. Pretty sure you have a stock oil system.

Re: American Classic Radial Tires
I rotated them about 4000 miles back. I’m hoping to get 20K miles out of ‘em, but that’s just a guess. I’m wondering how this is comparing to anyone else running the American Classics. I really...

Re: American Classic Radial Tires
9,600 miles on these American Classics on a ‘29 Tudor. I was running 38 PSI but noticed the centers are wearing more than the outsides. Dropped down to 35 PSI and will monitor wear.

Re: modern shock upgrade
I bought a kit from Mike’s a couple of years ago for my ‘29 Tudor. They bolted right up, no drilling and I love the way the car rides.

Re: American Classic Tires
I was thinking it might help the aerodynamics with the speed of light test Pete was questioning a few days ago. Merry Christmas!!

Re: American Classic Tires
No particular reason for mounting the ridge on the outside. Doesn’t seem to be a problem that I’m aware of. I’ve certainly been wrong before though. Anyone have info ????

Re: American Classic Tires
9,000 miles on these American Classics. I put them on when I restored the car a couple of years ago. Totally satisfied.

Re: Adding coolant
TMarsh, I had the same concern you’re having. I made a “sight glass” about 2 years ago. Now I always know exactly where the level is.

Re: Oops
Finally got the tires on. The fronts rub “just a little.” It handles really well, but the speedometer reading seems to be off now. Suggestions?

Oops
The new tires I ordered for my ‘29 Tudor were delivered today. I think I might have selected the wrong size.
