I've been in contact with Van pelt and he does not have the gears I need. He is looking for used parts in his stock. he never got back to me yet and its been two weeks. so that avenue is not looking...

Hello all,
I've been having trouble with the trans popping out of 4th gear on my 30 AA under load.
I guess my question is, are those parts still available? I'm looking for the 3rd and 4th slider...

Hello,
with this set up i still have to remove the rear end or the motor to re move the u-joint? Or can i just remove the short shaft?

So the rebuilt kit from Mac will not do, where else can i look? Here is the set up i have on the truck. It sure looks like the drawings you posted. Is the pilot bearing the same size as the A? thanks,

Is the u-joint the same size as a passenger car?
Also the shifter moves when under a load.

I check the clearance and its around .002 so it should be good. As for the valve I will need to change the guides.
