Darn, I would hate that. So I am assuming this would not show up and I would not hear it when it is just idling? Runs perfect or I should say sounds perfect at idle.

Sorry, I forgot to update.........it was my condenser that was bad. Put new one in and all is good. Thanks for everyone's help and replies.

Same thing. Missing real bad as soon as it get a load on it. Did a quick check of the timing. Seems to be ok. Again, starts right up and idles perfect.

Took off gas line. Took off bulb no dirt in bottom. Put bulb back on and it took about 1 to 2 seconds to fill up. Getting ready for test drive again.

Points are ok.

Missing bad out on road.

30 PU is missing really bad when running on road. Idles good but won't hardly run while out on road. I've had a great model A gentleman help me all winter on this truck. I will get his thoughts next...

I had a local body shop owner talk me out of PC. He sandblasted mine and then painted. They were black but are now painted a beautiful yellow.

Horn wont blow

OK, Just recently I was talked into going from a 6 volt to a 12 volt set-up on my 30 PU. I know I may get slammed by many for this move, but that ship has sailed. Now, my horn will not blow at all....

It really seems its in the timing or point gap. I have re-time a couple of times now. I started the points gap at 20k. Runs fine with spark up, pull spark down and it quits. I set points at 16k or so...

Clutch Issues / Problems?

IM having issues with my 30 PU. It seems that my cutch is not engage properly. At times, but not always, while shifting the gears will grind really bad. Ive tried double clutching and that helps...

Grinding down impeller

I purchased a new water pump and radiator for my 30 PU. There were instructions in with the new water pump saying if I have a new modern radiator that I would need to Grind off 1/3 from each fin.

What to do next?

In the process of putting a new radiator & water pump on my new 30 A PU. Got it all tore down. Also new points, plugs and any other general little jobs that have been ignored these past few years....
