Re: FINALLY...First project in the "NEW" shop

Rockfla

I would double the ceiling joists and would cover with one inch plywood. Great storage place for engines, and large pieces.

Re: Carburetor Issues - School me

I replaced the carburetor on my H engine with a 7HA carb off ebay.
Then a rebuild kit. Now it runs great.
I think the rebuild kit cost more than the carburetor did.

Re: newer two BBL carb

Find a 7HA carburetor and refresh it. It is compatible with the loadamatic distributor.

Gary
Now is a chance to spend more time with the grandkids. Show them some about wood work and truck maintenance. Pick and choose which jobs you take on, and enjoy life.

Re: Help with transmission selection

Kirby
you can get a 12 bolt 2.41:1 third member from a 79 camero, etc. They work good with 350/350 combo. About 70 MPH at 2100 RPM.

Re: Help with transmission selection
