It's a "genius" trickle charger (6v or 12v Auto detect)...looks like I showed it how smart I am

The alternator is a 6v positive ground. I bought a new one from Brattons this time hoping to be done with the issues.

Original 6v + ground blew a voltage regulator about a year and a half ago ....

Thanks Rusty, multimeter is brand new and hooking it up on my modern red/red and black/black shows a positive 12 and change volt reading

Okay folks, I did it. I drilled out a new hole lower and closer to the center of the mount. I screwed it down tight and will let it ride for now. Wife will be happy with her coffee and this time...

I just added the led inserts from brattons behind my original amber/red lens. The red in the led shine right through the amber and lights that entire light to turn, cruise, or stop. I am very happy...
