Squeaky throwout bearing?
When I depress the clutch pedal to engage the transmission with the engine running, the throwout bearing makes a squeaky noise. I tried lubricating it through the grease fittings in the top opening...

car clock
Does anyone know about original accessory car clocks are available for the Model A? I had a Mansfield Wiz mirror clock for awhile which no longer works and I'm told can't be repaired.

Electrical short blows lights
I have a 1929 Coupe which has a short in the system causing the bulbs to blow. I have an unrebuilt cutout on the generator (6 volt) could this be the problem? How do I trace the wires?

1929 water pump question
I see in the Judging standards that the 1929 water pump has no grease fittings. But before in 1928 and after in 1930-31 it did. Was the lack of fittings a problem with water leaking out?

Hood alignment
Aligning the model a ford hood on my 1929 coupe. My hood is 1/2 inch away from the cowl on the passenger side and 1/4 inch away from the radiator shell on the driver side. Any suggestions? Jeff

Ammeter gets hot

Rumble seat step plates black?
I have a 1929 standard coupe built in July of that year. I was told the round step plates for the rumble seat were painted black in 1929 and left shiny silver colored for 1930-31. Is that correct?
