If you carb is a two barrel check out a Rochester 2g 4 bolt pattern, as for a four barrel you may have to go to an adapter, a picture would help .

When you buy an aftermarket fan, make sure the rotation is correct , I had a customer com in with a cooling problem ,it seems he bought an aftermarket fan that was for a later model ford that rotated...

Cheaters Pete in Switzerland makes and sells a nifty valve adj. tool ,it works for the late and early engine. about 68.00 on Ebay. I still do it the old way .

Sounds like a bypassing master cylinder , when the brakes are applied the compensating port is blocked and pressure is applied to the wheel cylinders, and when the brakes are released the fluid...

My 41 , my 46 half ton and 46 1- 1/2 ton all have the mirror at the top of the windshield molding , I like the way yours is mounted ,probably easier to see out of.

If the rivets are loose , it needs attention , I had one that was cracked across the rivet holes and one blade flew off at 60 miles per hour it was a very nasty situation .

You may want to compare the crank shaft mounting face with the old flywheel , there is a difference in the early and late flywheels, sometimes causing problems with the starter engagement . some say...

No problem, Many thanks , "Speedway " tells me a lot , I didn't know who made speedway flywheels , I ruled the heavy speedway out a while back , I about decided a Centerforce or a Ram Clutches brand...

Check your flywheel . from the pic it looks like maybe a late aftermarket flywheel and early engine ?
I have not ran into any no turn problems due to a flywheel being mis- matched but nothing...

Sounds like what I need to use , my kit was supplied with a push lock hoses on the inside, I think I'll go to the aircraft type hose and fittings too.

The more I listen to this engine the better I like it , doesn't seem to have a rough choppy Idle , that's why I was wondering about the cam . show us the rest of the car, looks like a great project ....
