Re: 35 ford pickup weight

37fordpu....According to online sources, the empty weight of a 1935 Ford pickup is 2625 pounds/+/- 1191kg. I do not know if that weight includes the optional rear bumper which would add a fairly...

Re: '36 car parts?

The pickup inner grill panel is difficult to find in good condition and it fits only 36. The passenger car inner grill panel does not interchange.

Re: 39 Pickup ??? Pars ID help please

I do not think the header panels for pickups are the same from 37-39, with the 37 having two fairly large wiper motor covers not present on the 38 and 39. The 37-39 may have the same overall...

Re: CSRA SWAP MEET May2, 2021 Is On

For a moment there, I thought there was hope for a local swap meet. CSRA is an acronym used in SC and Georgia standing for the Central Savannah River Area which includes Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC, and...

Re: 1937 Ford Pickup Grill Shell

raybee...You are correct. The 35/6 are not the same length and are not the same shape in the front as the 37. In 1937 there was what I suspect are an early and a late for the passenger side. At some...

Re: Question for 39 pickup experts

To the best of my knowledge, the outer trim rings for 38 and 39 pickups/trucks interchange. The center grill trim for 38 and 39 are not the same. The 39 center stainless is very difficult to find. I...

Re: Help identify 36 ? 1/2 ton front fenders

The 35-37 pickup headlight buckets are more like a sphere cut in half than a cone. The pickup buckets are not very deep...much shallower than the passenger car buckets used in 35 and 36. EBay has a...

Re: E 3 spark plugs

Air Jordans at a gold plated price didn't help my game one iota. I still can't jump and I run in the same place too long.

Re: Battery dash clamp bolt 78-700748

Jacques1960...I thought that both of the battery bolts on the 37 passenger car were the same length. The 37 pickup used two different length battery bolts, neither of which is the same length as the...

Re: 36 Ford Pickup...

The 35 pickup spare mount rod was a one year item, making them a bit harder to find than the 36/37 pickup spare tire rod which was used two model years instead of just one. If you wanted to use the...

Re: 36 Ford Pickup...

pgpostman...The 1936 and 1937 pickups used the same spare mount as each other. There was also a locking spare setup for the pickups available for use with the wide-five wheels Ford used from 36-39....

Re: Truck Doors

The 38 and 39 have 3 body mold lines and the 47 has only two. I do not know about the other details in terms of being able to interchange them.

Re: Will a 33-34 windsheild crank fit a 35-36 car?

The windshield regulators went to two attachment points on the windshield frame in 1937. The handle on the 37 and 38 does not mount the same way as the 35/6 regulator handle. The 39 also had two...

Re: 1939 Pickup Front Fender Welting Question

Do any of you have a source for the bumpers that go in the holes on the cab that the hood sides go up against? They are pictured in 39 Portlander's first post in the last picture.

Re: 36 Car Headlight Buckets

If you are talking about whether the 36 passenger headlight was used on the 36 pickup/truck, the answer would be no. The 1935 passenger bucket and the 36 passenger bucket were dimensionally the same...
