Just as a follow up, Bert’s had original ones in stock and they are on there way to me. Thanks for the help from everyone on the forum. Sounds like the one I had was a bad repo one from years ago....

Okay, I’ll try calling tomorrow. Do you by chance know the name of the part? Lower seat bracket is what I would call it but I’m not so sure that is descriptive....lol

I was able to remove it, but cannot find a replacement. It is a cast piece and is not stamped steal.

Yes, car has a generator. I have a spare new cut out, and hope it’s that easy a fix. What makes people think it’s the Generstor? Is there a way to test the generator?
