This may be off subject; but when you have the diff out is a good time to replace the spring shackles.

Thanks all for the advice. I am going to replace the condenser as suggested. The short cable that came with the pop-out will be replaced (thanks Dick Crabtree). Other than that, it's wait and see...

It well could be the Pop-out, and I will take a look, it may be screwed in too far.

I thought of that too, but before I put in the Pop-out switch, it was running fine. I changed out the carburetor with one from my other A with no luck, still the same, but I will look into the carb...

What is happening is that the car will start and now idle fine after some adjustments. When the wheels are on jack stands it runs fine in all speeds. when taken off the jacks, the car goes fine in...

Replaced the carburetor, new manifolds, gaskets, checked timing, and replaced the distributor with a "rebuilt" pop-out. The car will not idle; any suggestions?

Gee, I bought several Model T panels from Howells over the phone, they told me the panels were in stock; I gave them my credit card info, hung up and prayed (Langs told me I was wasting my time)....

I finally contacted Dick Crabtree, and am sending him my "pop out". He told me that he has fixed many thousands of switches for over 50 years. My sincere thanks, it shows that the forum works!

Thanks to all who responded. My switch is an original and is in very good condition, but it needs a key, and I have the blank and am taking it to the locksmith.
