Interesting. Thanks for getting that info. With the rack on the I-beam there cannot be much bump steer, BUT I have read that there is quite a bit of feedback through the steering wheel into a drivers...

I would agree, but since this is the recommended config from Pertronix and that it has been working for a year now. Also it was running when this occurred. I make sure I do not leave the key on...

I have tried repeatedly with no success. I have had 2 other people try with no success. They just will not go together. I guess I will have to chalk it up to quality control.

Finally was getting to fire up the 52 Ford 239 8BA and noticed a good amount of oil coming from the inlet side of the oil filter canister. Upon further inspection the brass fitting was cracked....
