Re: Power shut-off switch

[QUOTE=Bruce of MN;2067925]Mine is on the ground side and is located here on my Ď31 coupe

Re: main seal leak

In post #4 you said: "Rear seal and oil level is good."

You still haven't admitted if the leak is at the front main or the rear main, which is it front or rear?

How much does it leak?

Re: Itís getting harder to drive my A

Make sure you do your pre-operation(s) exercises. The people that don't do them have lots of post-op problems.

Re: Generator charging revisited

The DMM will also pick up RFI from the ignition system causing it to go nuts.

Re: overheating

If you're replacing the head gasket it would be a good time to upgrade to a high compression head, if'n you don't already have one. Don't ask.

Re: genius battery tender

Ditto, it may take longer than 3 seconds, the booklet doesn't say that you need to hold the button in for a bit to get it to co-operate.

Re: Itís getting harder to drive my A

Gene F, I commiserate w/you about your experience at the alignment shop. I had a similar type situation in 1989 w/a Ford dealer on my 1960 Thunderbird.

Be resilient, overcome, adapt and carry on.

Re: Help - Front End is Off Center

It looks like the spindle arm nuts do not have cotter pins in them either. You need to check that every place there should be a cotter pin has one.
