On that note, how does the tail light wire run? Does it clip to the lower frame rail?

This will tell you how to fix it. I had the same issue test fitting my harness in a US switch. I ended up trying an original and it moved better. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233701

Has anyone dealt with the rear wheels not sitting centered in the rear fenders? The drivers side is close but the passenger side sits a lot more towards the rear of the fender. I had my rear end out...

Thanks for the reply, I think mine was a converted car so it's bolted in. Is the seat pan the only thing that needs to be removed if that's the case? No trunk lid, etc.?

Is it necessary to have the rear wish bones attached first? I'm about to install the rear but it won't have the brakes on at the moment because I need to lap the axle tapers.

I ended up finding a new bolt I had on hand for a 26-27 Model T rear spring. This one matches better to the original one.
