I have all the tools except for the rear wheel bearing wrench, Ford Part #61-17033. It is a 2 3/8" size socket that is 2...

Re: Ford Fire Extinguisher

That’s interesting. I had heard that the fire extinguishers were mainly used by commercial operators.

Re: Ford Fire Extinguisher

I would be fine with either. All of the original ads that I’ve seen for 50-51 still show the FORD tags. Though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t update catalog photos just because their label...

Re: Ford Fire Extinguisher

I did read that some of the earlier versions of this fire extinguisher had a blue oval, but they are much rarer than the red versions.

Re: Ford Fire Extinguisher

Yes, I saw that. Asking price can be very different from sold price though. Previous auction listings that I found all sold between $50-$250, depending on condition and I would guess how publicized...

Re: Ford Fire Extinguisher

Thanks 19Fordy, I have seen those.

I should have been more specific, if anyone has a photo of theirs installed in their truck, I'd love to see it. Also, if anyone knows where I could find one,...

Hi guys,

I have a 1950 F-2, and recently starting looking through a 1950 Ford Accessory pamphlet. One of the items listed is a dealer option fire extinguisher. Has anyone ever come across one of...

01Y-17271-F 23 tooth

Photo for reference. (the driven gear on the right)

Thanks!

WTB: 1938/1939 Ford Project Truck

I'm looking for a 1938 or 1939 3/4 or 1 ton truck to restore. Looking to go all original, so original driveline is a must. Planning on a frame off restoration, so almost any condition is fine as...
