That's weird. I have no clue what the extra coil would be used for, unless it was for redundancy, or possibly to trigger a flame thrower in the exhaust pipe. ;)

Absolutely!

I want to do my coupe in a very similar fashion. I just don't know if the coupe would look good like that. It's a bit tall.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I had a friend of mine throw a fan blade through the hood of his car once. Talk about scary. 1 in a million shot though.
