Model A -- Calif or bust

This may or may not be of interest.
If anyone is following a man's trip from Connecticut with Model A Coupe with Calif. or Bust on the trunk, It was just seen On route 6 in Troy, PA.

You had said the original crank had a loose pulley and that the crank had to be replaced.
If they used this crank this time, what was done to resolve this problem? Could this be your vibration?

I agree with Old Henry, it looks like the sender is not the right one. From the picture it looks like you are missing the restrictor for the oil filter. If the restrictor is missing it will rob oil...

They are common around here for mowing large lawns. They seem to work good.

fyi The tractor in the picture looks to be 8n, but the front hubs are 9n/2n. They made 8n’s with front mount...
